Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Installing and commissioning of battery monitoring systems and chargers.
  • VLA (Flooded),VRLA and NiCd Battery additions, removals, and replacements.
  • Performing additions, removals, and modifications on working equipment and circuits.
  • Preparing General, Detailed, and Combined Method of Procedure’s (MOP’s).
  • Resolving job specification and/or drawing problems without assistance.
  • Performing in-process and final quality inspections.
  • Demonstrating proper operation of basic tools and test equipment.
  • Supplying and organizing trucks with all equipment necessary to perform job functions at various sites.
  • Staying up-to-date on safety training, compliance and knowledge of HAZMAT and DOT requirements.
  • Continually training and developing to advance to next levels of Installation and Field Technician.
  • Conforms to all safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Growth Opportunity:

This role provides a path to advance into a Lead Field Service Technician position. As a Lead Field Service Technician, you will take on greater responsibilities, including:

  • Leading a group of Field Technician while installing and commissioning battery monitoring systems and chargers.
  • Assisting Service Project Managers in project management planning.
  • Performing battery additions, removals, and replacements.
  • Developing detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) plans.
  • Conducting in-process and final quality inspections.
  • Demonstrating advanced tool and test equipment operations.
  • Staying up-to-date on HAZMAT and DOT safety compliance.
  • Taking ownership of truck and equipment readiness for job sites.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and communication systems is a plus.
  • Telecom experience preferred.

This position will require potential candidates to travel up to 100% of the week and live close to the international airport.

Any job offer will be contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check. This position is considered a safety sensitive position and therefore will be subject to random drug screening as required.
