This tutorial Is all about battery charging. During the presenter’s 40 plus years working in the back-up power industry in various capacities, it became obvious that in many cases, batteries were not being properly charged, with various consequences. The proper charging techniques along with what happens when you don’t do it correctly, will be discussed. Treat your battery properly and not only will it be at full capacity when you need it, but you will also extend its life.
The presenter is Eagle Eye University’s Technical Advisor, Allen Byrne. Allen is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and has been involved with writing stationary battery standards for over 25 years. He has been inducted into the Battcon Battery Hall-of-Fame for his contributions to the stationary battery industry.
