Comprehensive Battery Training

In addition to our hands-on education, we also offer customizable, comprehensive battery training. These training courses are led by Allen Byrne. Allen is a 37-year veteran in the battery backup power industry having worked in all aspects of the field. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) where he sits on the Power and Energy Society’s Stationary Battery Committee (PES SBC). He is also a member of the IEEE Standards Association. Allen is one of the founders of Battcon and was named “Battery Person of-the-year” by the attendees of Battcon in 2005. In 2011 he was inducted into the Battcon Battery Hall-of-Fame.

These one or two day non-commercial courses are designed to provide you with an up-to-date insight into current battery technology, standards, sizing, maintenance, failure mechanisms, and monitoring.
