Customer:
A Fortune 50 Company building hyperscale, cutting-edge data centers around the country that require high-capacity, scalable AC power solutions. With high visibility and millions of customers, the power infrastructure of these data centers is vital to the company’s reliability, performance, and overall success.
Challenge:
The general contractor (GC) for this Fortune 50 end user is responsible for sourcing equipment for commissioning and testing. Looking for a load bank supplier with competitive pricing and shorter lead times, it sought a manufacturer that would meet the demand for 140 units needed in a condensed timeframe for its latest project.
Solution:
Providing technical guidance for both the end user and GC, Eagle Eye Power Solutions worked to quickly develop a solution that would meet their demands. This high level of responsiveness and willingness to get the customer what they needed, when they needed it, positioned Eagle Eye as a trusted partner to be awarded this opportunity. Furthermore, Eagle Eye streamlined its supply chain to offer enhanced cable connectors and tap boxes utilized in commissioning.
Here’s a look at the model that was designed and built for this project – the TALON Edge load bank.
Implementation:
Navigating complex contract terms and supply logistics, Eagle Eye’s Operations Team worked on evaluating inventory and quality control strategies to ensure operational readiness for a project of this scale.
Results:
The work isn’t complete by simply delivering products on time, Eagle Eye’s field and technical teams continue to support the installation, commissioning, and ongoing needs to ensure long-term success of the project and instilling customer confidence for future collaboration. Eagle Eye also provided a complete kit of spare parts for wear items to support the deployment of the units in the field and support uptime of the load banks during the critical commissioning process
Eagle Eye was able to provide onsite customer support via training for several partners expected to utilize the load banks during commissioning and testing.

The above efforts helped the customer utilize up to 40 MW of load banks for commissioning a multi-building campus with several data halls to support a top twenty in scale data center project.
